A full Level Design project

In order to graduate from the Gamagora training, the students are tasked with the realization of a game with students of 3 different trainings (game design, art and programming). In that context, I had the opportunity to design a modular system for ruins generation as well as the world of Ecosystem. The game has been developed with Unity, here is a short trailer.

This project is a resource management game where the player needs to maintain a viable climate under a dome in a post-apocalyptic world by controlling a small robot. The dome attracts continuously humans and the player will have to balance their needs with the environment under the dome. Each action has consequence on the water level, the temperature, the flora and the fauna of the level.

In order to engage the player into exploring the world, we also added limited resources in the scattered ruins that can be accessed through small platform puzzles

Because we had a hard deadline, I was tasked with the creation of the modular design of the ruins in Maya. This quickly allowed us to build a great variety of assets and to create funny puzzles.
