A year-long training in level and game design
In 2017 I had the chance to follow the “Gamagora” training in Level Design at Lyon2 University in France. This training aimed at showing the industry’s procedures and documents that would be needed in order to present, sell and realize short games.
The game we presented during the year were meant to be realized by a team of students in the last semester. Mine got to the last round of selection, you can download the game design document for download here after (in French).
Here is a short video of an assignment : a 3v3 map project on UDK.
During this training, I started using python scripts as well as some industry standard softwares such as Maya or Unity.
